Installing Macromedia Shockwave

You must have a recent version of the Macromedia Shockwave Player installed on your computer to view the content on Alta Online.

If Shockwave is installed correctly, you will see a Shockwave movie running.

You may be prompted to install or update Shockwave before you can see the movie.

Movie <p style='border: solid 1px red; padding: 1em;'>Error: Could not embed movie.</p> <p>A newer version of Shockwave must be installed to display this content.</p>

This movie checks for the Macromedia XML Parser Xtra for Shockwave on your computer and downloads it from the Macromedia web site if necessary. The XML Parser Xtra is required to play content on Alta Online, and is not part of the standard Shockwave installation.
